• Thank you! Blitz Latin is really fantastic. I found it remarkably helpful, easy to use, and fast.
• Then came version 1.52. It was like magic, I clearly understood the translation that version 1.52 was giving me; and it did not take long for me to tidy it up. Version 1.52 is even more flexible. Using this flexibility, one can approach the translation from different directions, and a combination of directions. I was getting very worried about translating this Vesper, because of the time I had wasted experimenting with alternative ways, and the approaching deadline for printing the concert programmes. For me, Blitz Latin has been a godsend, and I am so pleased that I purchased it.
• I don't know if I would have purchased this program sight unseen, but after I had a chance to compare it to Words I felt it was better and more efficient to translate larger documents. Now I will tell you what I like about Blitz Latin:
  - It is a pleasure to use a programme that is written in C++. It is a no nonsense programme that is unbelievably fast.
  - The ability to treat single word and sentence translations differently is very helpful indeed, and must be the only programme to do this with such a very high degree of accuracy.
  - The ability to individually select the preferred area of working.
  - The ability to let the programme use its own intelligence in automatically selecting a combination of preferred areas. I believe that it was this ability that made the breakthrough for me.

• "Perhaps I should tell you how I go about doing things, if you are interested. First I get a Latin pdf file of the original text, most often by scanning a book such as a volume of Euler's Opera Omnia, which I normally do gradually as it takes an hour or so to do 100 pages. At present I type this file into a word file in Latin, both on screen at the same time (I used to try to type straight off a page of the book, but it is prone to mistakes, missing out lines of text, etc.). Having got my Latin text in a doc file, I make a copy of it in the same file, and set to work translating the first copy. Your program is very useful at this stage, as a cut and paste of a paragraph can be done very easily. I then translate, and can refer to your program (Blitz Latin) to check the parsing of words, meanings, misspelling, etc. Whittaker's dictionary is also very useful, and I have that on screen as well."

• I compared your product with another phrase/sentence translation program and found that yours performed well with lots of intelligible answers.

• My initial attempts using Blitz Latin have been helpful as I have little knowledge of Latin and no desire to learn Latin beyond translating a couple of books. I have decided to use a number of programs for verification, but I am pleased with the input Blitz Latin is providing so far.

• I like the speed the program translates.

• I compared it to QuickLatin and found it to offer far better speed. It also seemed to output readable English translations. And the features seemed more extensive.

• Blitz Latin seems a very useful tool to have on my computer as a stand-alone product, rather than having to depend on Latin dictionaries on the internet whenever I want to look something up. The fact that your blurb indicates that it has an unusually wide vocabulary of common medieval Latin words was also rather appealing, since most electronic dictionaries I've encountered focus on classical Latin.

• I have to say that it is continuing to be fantastically useful, to say the least.
