Examples of problems solved with FinePrint
Do you recognize any of these problems? FinePrint can remove them
Business documents can contain hundreds of pages. They are bulky to handle heavy for posting and filing and consume lots of paper. Products often come with PDF versions of the full manual - now they are practical to print using FinePrint.FinePrint users can cut the paper required by 75% by printing these documents as A5 booklets. A booklet has two pages on each side of an A4 (or A3) sheet. The result is that they are using a quarter the paper and half the printing time - two pages appear for every side printed. Use of toner and ink is also substantially reduced, as is storage.
Custom personal or business letterhead can be expensive. The costs of printing letters, invoices, quotations and spreadsheets on letterhead stationery can quickly escalate. Field staff often don't have letterhead when they need it.
Any artwork you can print can be saved as an overlay in FinePrint. The FinePrint preview can be used to ensure the correct letterhead is applied and removes the problem of incorrect stationery in a remote printer. A major bank has reduced printed letterheads from over 400 to a handful of colour logo based 'masters'.

You have a briefcase full of papers needed for a meeting and produced from a variety of software. Use FinePrint to produce a single booklet. You can add page numbers and revise margins to give the appearance of a single document. You can also remove some of the documents from some of the booklets if for example confidential pages need removing from some copies.
Only print what you want when you want it.You can save FinePrint jobs and re-call them when more copies are needed without worrying about the layout moving.
Preprinted letterheads containing outdated informationNew directors? New phone numbers? New address? Keep your letterhead in FinePrint and overlay the letterhead as you print.
Sending copy invoices If the original invoices are archived on the computer FinePrint makes this as easy and inexpensive as possible. Print the invoice to FinePrint, overlay 'Copy invoice' as a watermark and send as a pdf file via pdfFactory.
When you email a document it is difficult to guarantee that the recipient will be able to open and see/print the document as you intended. Even if the recipient has the same software, he will probably not have the same fonts and margins set.FinePrint pdfFactory turns any document into Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF files can be read and printed by anyone with the free Acrobat reader. pdfFactory will convert the output from any Windows application to PDF, allowing everyone to read the output of an application without having to buy the product
It is often difficult to combine output from different applications for electronic distribution. With pdfFactory users can turn any document into a PDF file. A report containing pages from several sources is as easy to produce as a single source document.
Putting together a single document that combines print jobs from a variety of applications is virtually impossible. When many users are sharing one printer, sorting through disparate print jobs to find multiple documents can be time consuming.  The Defer Printing feature is used to assemble printouts from different applications and save them all as a single file. By enabling users to submit multiple print jobs to a single FinePrint file, the problem of searching through multiple documents amidst a stack of documents printed by various users within a workgroup is removed.
Publishing printable documents on the web is very difficult. You have poor control of the font size, margins and positioning of graphics. Tables may print with figures misaligned and sophisticated literature layouts may become badly scrambled.pdfFactory turns any of the documents that you normally print in the office into the PDF format. These PDF versions of your documents will print from the web exactly as you intend them to. Price lists, time tables, etc. will look as professional as you planned them to look. PDFs are usually considerably smaller than the original document.
Archiving materials from a wide range of programs ties you to keeping these programs (and the skills to use them) active in order to retrieve the information at a future date.pdfFactory converts all of these documents into a single format - PDF. The PDF format is an industry standard. To read the documents in the future you will only need the Acrobat reader. PDF files often take less space than the original.
